Friends Meeting
There will be a meeting of the Friends of the Pember Library at 2:00 PM. We will finalize plans for the annual summer sale.
Book Club
The Pember Book Club will be reading “The Dirty Life; on Farming, Food, and Love” by Kristin Kimball.   From Publishers Weekly: Kimball chucked life as a Manhattan journalist to start a cooperative farm in upstate New York with a self-taught New Paltz farmer she had interviewed for a story and later married. Pember Board Meeting
A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Pember Library and Museum will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Pember. This is a regular meeting and open to the public.
Quilling Class
Pat O will teach us more quilling or feel free to join us if you have a project you are working on and just like to chat while you are crafting. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Pre-registration is not required, materials provided. Beginners welcome. For information, call 518-642-2525.
Movie Night
Stay tuned… We plan to have a movie at the Pember the third Friday of each month. We may add more movie times and children’s films once the program gets established. Due to licensing restrictions, we can’t list the titles we will be showing online but there will be posters and bookmarks in the library. We plan to alternate classics with newer releases. May’s movie is a story about friendship and war. Please call the Pember Library at 518 642-2525 …
