Primary sources for family trees

All of us want to know more about our past. For many people, this need-to-know takes  the form of genealogical research. What you may not know is that the Pember Library has dozens of materials to help you start that research quickly and easily. How? Through WorldCat. When you use WorldCat.org online or in the library, you can see instantly what materials we have here in Granville and what’s available through interlibrary loan.

You’ll find genealogy books, ship passenger lists, historical society records, archival photos, articles on research techniques, family histories, digital image collections-as well as how-to guides and more. There are lots of primary source materials in libraries around the country. Go online or come in and we can help you get started-but watch out, you may be surprised at what you find!

Find it in here in this library or around the world, through WorldCat.
