On Saturday, July 5, please join the Pember Library and Museum for their Independence Weekend Ice Cream Social and Annual Silent Auction from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be ice cream sundaes, cupcakes, refreshments, and music outside the Pember. Inside the Library will be the silent auction which closes at 7:00 PM and beer and wine refreshments. We will post pics and descriptions of auction items as they come in.
Pember Presents: “Rescued from Slavery: The Story of Solomon Northup,” on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2 PM at the Pember Library in Granville. The one hour program by David Fiske will include a lecture and slide presentation about Solomon Northup, a free black man who lived in New York State. A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Pember Library and Museum will be held on the third Thursday of each month at the Pember. This is a regular meeting and open to the public.
