Feed the Kitty
Lucy has been at the library for over a month now. She has done her job well: to act charming and make the library a welcoming and homey place. We will be placing a jar at the counter for people to make contributions toward Lucy’s upkeep. Thank you
Library Closed
The library will remain closed today because of poor road conditions. Fines will be waived for books that become overdue because of the closing.

Two new books
I read two new books this past week and enjoyed them both.  Alex Kava’s Exposed deals with FBI agents Maggie O’Dell and Assistant Director Cunninham trying to solve seemingly unrelated deaths.  In trying to solve the problem they are drawn into a trap that results in tragedy.  It’s frightening on one level as it deals

The book, which will be available at the library after December 15, is For Her Own Good: Two Centuries of the Experts' Advice to Women, by Barbara Ehrenreich.
Book your Holiday
It’s Black Friday so probably many of you have been out and about since 4AM. Did you find any great buys? Do you shop online? Is your holiday shopping all done or are you waiting to see if there will be better sales just before Christmas? I have been gathering small items for a couple of
