Telescope items up for auction donated by Kathy Juckett and Telescope Casual: Two sets of 2 director’s chairs;  value $354, opening bid $50 each set. Patio furniture; value $3035, opening bid $500. Two swivel Telescope were donated by the Lion’s Club. They have a value of $250 with an opening bid of $100 for the set. There are also two reclining chaise chairs valued at $600 each. The opening bid for each is $100.

The fundraiser auction and dinner will be held at the Lake St Catherine Country Club on June 3.  Items up for auction will be on display at the library. Autumn Leaves on Blue Sap bucket donated by Judi Brown. The opening bid is $20. Decoupage Lake Scene Sap Bucket and two handmade potholders donated by Alice Didier. The opening bid is $25. Chess/Checkers Table donated by Ardyce Bresett. The opening bid is $25.
Fundraiser Auction June 3
The fundraiser auction and dinner will be held at the Lake St Catherine Country Club on June 3.  Items up for auction will be on display at the library. A signed copy of Stephen King’s new book “Under the Dome” is being raffled. Tickets are $1.00. The drawing will be on Tuesday, December 22 at 4:30  PM.
Auction Fundraiser

The sap buckets pictured there will be up for auction with final bids due by 3pm, December 13 at the end of our Open House. Plant Sale
Plants are on sale at the library. Prices range from $2.00 – $15.00. There are some vegetable plants (tomatoes, cabbage, etc.), a few herbs (chocolate mint, & parsley) and lovely flowers.  There’s still time to add some great looking plants to your garden or pretty up your porch with a hanging basket!
Friends’ Book Sale – Starts Today!
The annual Friends of the Pember Library Book Sale will take place at the Mary J Tanner School on Route 22 in Middle Granville. There will be thousands of books available. Most hardcover books will be $1.00 and paperbacks for $.25. Newer or special books will be individually priced. On Saturday from 1pm to 3 pm will be our $1.00 per bag sale using bags we provide.

UPDATE: I removed some of the photos to make it easier on folks with slow connections. The photos are still available if someone wants to see a pic of one of the buckets. The fund-raiser was very successful using only 17 of the 30 buckets that were donated. The Friends of the Pember Library will host a spring paperback book sale Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the main room of the Pember Library. All paperback books will be $.25. Paperbacks for adults and children will be available. Donate your gently used paperbacks to the library.
