About 1000 people were there for the dedication of the clock in September 1943. I’m looking forward to a re-dedication after the clock has been restored.

I expect to be doing much more with this story as the days pass. HOPE to be writing about the work starting John Freed is still waiting for the insurance company.
Ardyce – how difficult was it to get the print outs? I’ve got dates for many other articles; they were easier to find after John tracked down the endpoint.
It is really pretty easy if you have the dates. Tell me the dates you need and I can have a volunteer do printouts.
