Features Artist Candy Cahn
Musician Don Cahn
The Pember Library and Museum in Granville, NY is pleased to present local artist Candy Cahn for April First Friday at the Pember. Candy loves wildlife and her art echoes her passion. “I come from a long line of artists,” she reflected. “My mother painted landscapes in oil, but I like to work with other subjects and media. Animals are my favorite – especially horses.”
The show will include Candy’s charcoal portraits of horses, vibrant watercolors of wild animals, and stitched nature panels. Candy has exhibited at the Poultney Library and was recently awarded two prizes for her animal portraits at the Washington County Fair.
It’s not often that we have a husband and wife team appearing at First Friday, but we do for April, so you just can’t miss this one. Guitarist, singer and songwriter Don Cahn will be performing. Be there…
And be sure to check the specials of the many Main Street businesses that will be staying open late for First Friday.
First Friday is April 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.
