First Place in the “Anything but Pie apple dessert contest” went to Robyn Lipshutz with her Apple Caramel Bars. Judi Brown’s Jewish Apple Cake was the second place winner with Theresa Loomis’ “On a whim!” sauteed apples and Tamika Carty’s Gala Concord cookies tied for third. Sixteen entries, six incredible judges, a cool emcee, and four great prizes made the Pember Library’s first annual “Anything But Pie” contest a success!
