Our library has just received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers. These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together. Come to the library to explore and enjoy our new collection.

The Pember Library and Museum will host an open workshop along with a display of workshop art – “Art in the Making” on Friday, February 3 at First Friday. “Workshops are vital places for artists to hone their vision and skills,” said Pember Board President Mary King. “First Friday will be both a workshop and an exhibition, with open call for artists at all levels of experience to participate or submit work at all stages of completion for the show.” …
