Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter from Newfield, New York, will perform a free, very participatory family program called “Take a Tromp Through the Swamp and a Break by the Lake” at the Pember Library at 6:00 PM on August 26. The show consists of humorous children’s songs that are guaranteed to engage everyone. Storytelling duo TaraDiddle will be at the Pember Library on Saturday. Hear tales about foolish frogs, wide-mouth frogs, big blue frogs, and a little frog who made a difference. Linda will present awards from the summer reading reading program and will have a special treat for everyone!
The teen summer reading group, Make Waves @the Library, will be holding a bake sale at the Pember Library 33 West Main St in Granville. All proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Club’s “Pure Water” fund to support a water filtration system in a third world country.
