Beth Elam has been quilting for over ten years and has her own quilt company, Star Quilts. She became interested in quilting from reading the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Join us on Saturday as Beth shows kids some of the fundamentals of quilting while Pat Oathout reads some stories that follow the theme.

A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Pember Library and Museum will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Pember. This is a regular meeting and open to the public.

Pember Presents: “Take a Tromp Through the Swamp and a Break by the Lake”
Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter from Newfield, New York, will perform a free, very participatory family program called “Take a Tromp Through the Swamp and a Break by the Lake” at the Pember Library at 6:00 PM on August 26. The show consists of humorous children’s songs that are guaranteed to engage everyone.
