Throughout December, we had a Wish List in the library and posted online. We got many donations for childrens’ books and movies, and a couple of audio books. We truly appreciate the generosity of all the people who are helping us to add to our collection. Holiday Auction
This is a silent auction of gift-able items which may include Christmas decorations, store-bought or handmade items, artist pieces and who knows what else. Bidding on the items will run from 6:00-7:00pm. NEW YORK STATE LIBRARY ANNOUNCES ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS FOR NOVELNY
Bernard A. Margolis, Assistant Commissioner for Libraries and State Librarian, is pleased to announce the selection of electronic products to constitute the NOVELNY (New York Online Virtual Electronic Library) statewide collection through June 30, 2013.   In 2012/2013, NOVELNY offers an encyclopedia, strong general reference and periodicals content, business, news and health concentrations, an interface and content for children, and author information.  Products were competitively selected to provide the broadest array of desired content for the best value given current resources. …
