Craft Classes

Classes in October will be October 30 – knit or crochet washcloth October 31 – silk ribbon ornament For the knitted washcloth, bring a ball of cotton yarn in whatever color(s) you like. You will need regular knitting needles, any size from 4-8. For the crocheted frog washcloth, you will need a ball of green cotton yarn and small amounts of white and black cotton yarn. Apple Dessert Contest results

First Place in the “Anything but Pie apple dessert contest” went to Robyn Lipshutz with her Apple Caramel Bars. Judi Brown’s Jewish Apple Cake was the second place winner with Theresa Loomis’ “On a whim!” sauteed apples and Tamika Carty’s Gala Concord cookies tied for third. Sixteen entries, six incredible judges, a cool emcee, and four great prizes made the Pember Library’s first annual “Anything But Pie” contest a success!
