The Teddy Bear Tea will take place next Saturday, February 16. Bring your favorite stuffed animal and join us at the Pember Library for “tea,” story time, and a “beary” special craft project. This lucky bear will go home with the winner of the drawing.

Throughout December, we had a Wish List in the library and posted online. We got many donations for childrens’ books and movies, and a couple of audio books. We truly appreciate the generosity of all the people who are helping us to add to our collection. February 7, 6:00 PM at the Pember Library 33 West Main Granville. We will be making filigree earrings. Pat Oathout will teach quilling, an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Did you know? Penguins are found in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, the Falkland Islands, and the Galapagos Islands. Elsewhere, they are only found in zoos. Penguin Awareness Day is January 20. Learn about and appreciate this native of Antarctica.
