Knit-in
The knit-in continues! One ‘lapghan’ is complete. I have the panels for two more; they just need to be sewn together. I will post photos when they are done. Three will be donated to the Haynes House and the fourth will be raffled off at the library. We plan to work on ‘chemo hats’ next with some patterns available at the library. Dummies Library Display Contest
Wiley Publishing has an annual display contest. They ask participating libraries to create a black and yellow eye-catching display showcasing ‘dummies’ titles. The reward is greater circulation of titles in this popular series and the chance to win For Dummies books for the library’s collection, as well as a trophy and a pizza party for the staff!
