Grade School Art Show June 15 6-8 PM

The Pember Library and Museum will have an exhibit of 450-500 pieces of art done by local elementary students on June 15 from 6-8 PM. Based on taxidermy specimens from the Pember Museum, art teacher Jennifer Dashef had the kindergarten through third grades draw and paint owls. The fourth through sixth grade students drew and painted a bobcat. They used their imagination for the colors…
Substitute teacher Hyam Blum coordinated the art lessons for this project and Bob Tatko handled the transportation of the museum animals to and from the school.
