UPDATE: I’m sorry to report that Mr Kelly will not be able to be here on the 18th. We will try to reschedule. Friends of the Library
The next meeting of the Friends will take place in the main room of the library. We will  be making plans for our huge summer book sale which will be held at the Mary J Tanner School cafeteria. Plans are currently to have the sale on July 9-10 with setup on July 7 & 8. Other possible fundraisers will be discussed (a raffle or a plant sale, maybe?) The book club has decided to read True Grit by Charles Portis. The Coen Brothers are remaking the movie, with Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn!
Computers for Seniors
The February “computers for seniors” classes have filled up fast! Barb Young will be teaching another session of the popular class at the Pember Library. Classes will run from 10:00AM to 11:30AM Mondays and Fridays from March 22 through April 2. Classes will cover internet and email, word processing, and using the library card catalog with databases.
