We won’t have a story time on December 4 because of the Holiday Book Sale. Our story time on December 11 will be Knuffle Bunny stories by Mo Willems. Learn about Trixie and her friend Knuffle Bunny who goes everywhere (?) with her. Our Learn with Linda program for December will be holiday stories, snacks, crafts and more.
Pember Recycles!
The Pember Library and Museum is starting a print cartridge, cell phone, iPod, digital camera, GPS device and laptop recycling program. This program is free and convenient for our organization and will generate CASH to be spent on items that we need. It’s an alternative to the traditional fundraisers because there is no buying or selling – only collecting what would normally be thrown away. Holiday Book Sale
Mark your calendars now for the first-ever Friends of the Pember Library Holiday Book Sale. The sale will be held Saturday, December 4, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Pember Library, 33 West Main St. in Granville. Just in time for holiday shopping, we’ll have a selection of gift-quality books for the book lover on your holiday shopping list. Prices will range from $1.00 to $25.00. Card making class
Save money by making your own cards and tags. We will have a class in card making with the focus on the upcoming holidays. There will be a $1.00 per card fee. Please bring glue, tape runner, or adhesive. Sign up at the library so we can plan for supplies. We will add a second class if there is enough interest.
