Quilling class
Pat O will teach us more quilling or feel free to join us if you have a project you are working on and just like to chat while you are crafting. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Pre-registration is not required, materials provided. Book Club
The book club decided to read more of Mark Kurlansky's books. They are well-done and interesting. They also plan to read 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus by Charles C. Mann for their November meeting. More info will posted. The book club will discuss books written by Mark Kurlansky. He has had 23 books published including fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books. Fall Sale at the Pember
We have lots of VHS movies and audio books on cassette that didn’t make it to the summer sale. We will have a special sale of these items on September 29, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There may also be some paperbacks for sale. All proceeds will benefit the Pember book acquisition fund.

Friends of the Library to meet
There will be a meeting of the Friends of the Pember Library at 2:00 PM September 18. We will evaluate the book sale, plan future fundraising and hopefully have a volunteer to take the position of treasurer.
Pember Presents: Night Visitors
Taradiddle will once again entertain us with songs and stories following our summer reading theme of “Dream Big: Read” and “Own the Night” From the slightly spooky Strange Visitor to the definitely unpleasant Terrible Nung Guama, you never know who—or what—might come calling in the still of the night.
