If you try reading a new (to you) author, you may be pleasantly surprised, or you may be disappointed, but it’s certainly something you should do to get out of your reading rut. I have recently read two books by new authors, Jane Haddam and Linwood Barclay. Haddam’s Cheating at Solitaire was a disappointment to me. Annual Holiday Open House

Please join us for our annual Holiday Open House. Our lovely Victorian building will be decorated in celebration of the holiday season. We will have snacks, music and something for the kids! “Open craft night.” People can bring in their card making supplies and work here, sharing materials and ideas. Some basic materials you might bring: card stock, stickers, scissors, holiday scrapbooking paper, glitter, glue sticks, stamps & ink pads, etc. Below are some samples; there are several others on display at the library.
