We plan to have a movie at the Pember the third Friday of each month. Due to licensing restrictions, we can’t list the titles we will be showing online but there will be posters and bookmarks in the library. We plan to alternate classics with newer releases. Pat O will teach us more quilling or feel free to join us if you have a project you are working on and just like to chat while you are crafting. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Pre-registration is not required, materials provided. The book club decided to read more of Mark Kurlansky's books. They are well-done and interesting. They also plan to read 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus by Charles C. We have lots of VHS movies and audio books on cassette that didn’t make it to the summer sale. We will have a special sale of these items on September 29, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There may also be some paperbacks for sale. All proceeds will benefit the Pember book acquisition fund.
