We have a meeting room available for small groups during regular hours at the Pember Library. It comfortably seats four to eight people. Please make reservations to use the room at least 48 hours in advance.

Computer Classes
Beginning computer classes will once again be offered thanks to a grant from The Washington County Home for Aged Women. Barbara Young will teach five 1 1/2 hour sessions beginning December 3. Sign up now to get a place in the class. The class size is limited to eight people.
Fireside Stories
Johanna Dekalb will be reading for our Fireside Stories this month. Join us for some fun stories and a craft on these Saturdays: October 2: Harvest October 9: Autumn Leaves October 16: Pumpkins October 30: Cats Suitable for pre-school to early elementary age children.
The Lucy Fund
Please help us to buy food and kitty litter for Lucy. There is a bank on the desk for people to put in spare change or bills if you can afford to help a little.

This special workshop presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County will enable you to  learn about Reducing energy bills Low-cost, no cost energy conservation methods Each participating household will receive an Energy-Saving Kit FREE and open to the public. Advance registration is required The class will be presented twice on September 30. Call to register 746-2560. Individuals with special needs requiring accommodations should specify this when registering.
