I read two new books this past week and enjoyed them both. Alex Kava’s Exposed deals with FBI agents Maggie O’Dell and Assistant Director Cunninham trying to solve seemingly unrelated deaths. In trying to solve the problem they are drawn into a trap that results in tragedy. Try a new author

If you try reading a new (to you) author, you may be pleasantly surprised, or you may be disappointed, but it’s certainly something you should do to get out of your reading rut. I have recently read two books by new authors, Jane Haddam and Linwood Barclay. Haddam’s Cheating at Solitaire was a disappointment to me.
