At the Pember Library: As residents of New York State, we are all at risk of different kinds of disasters. It has become clear over the past few years, especially after the last hurricanes, that New York is not as prepared for a disaster as it should be. Governor Cuomo’s Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program provides New Yorkers with the knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters, respond accordingly, and recover as quickly as possible to post-disaster conditions. …
