Lucy’s Holiday Adventure
Lucy has gone to stay with Bernie (museum educator) for the holidays. We’re hoping that she will take the time over the next days to tell us a few things about her holiday adventures. Computers for Seniors
Barb Young will again be teaching the popular “computers for seniors” at the Pember Library. Classes will run from 10:00AM to 11:30AM Mondays and Fridays from February 22 through March 5. Classes will cover internet and email, word processing, and using the library card catalog with databases. You must pre-register for the series of classes. Class size is limited to eight people. Holiday Hours
The library will be open Tuesday 9am-5pm and Wednesday 1pm-8pm.  We are closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the following day re-opening on Tuesday December 29. Next week, the library will be open Tuesday 9am-5pm and Wednesday 1pm-8pm. We are closed New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and the following day re-opening January 5 with regular hours that week.
Pember Board Meeting
A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Pember Library and Museum will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Pember. This is a regular meeting and open to the public.
Raffle
A signed copy of Stephen King’s new book “Under the Dome” is being raffled. Tickets are $1.00. The drawing will be on Tuesday, December 22 at 4:30  PM.
Open House
The Open House was a great success. The food was good, fellowship enjoyable, music entertaining. The sap bucket auction is complete and I will be notifying people if they won on Tuesday. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed in any way to the Open House.

Auction Fundraiser

The sap buckets pictured there will be up for auction with final bids due by 3pm, December 13 at the end of our Open House.
